Picture Day

Dear Parents & Guardians,

Picture Day is THIS Friday, October 28th.  The students will take individual pictures in uniform.  

We sent home order forms last Monday, please be sure to send payment for your pictures on or before Picture Day. 

You can also order on line at www.strawbridge.net use the code 111017 when prompted.

After making an online payment enter the online payment code on the order form.

Upcoming Events

Thursday, 10/20/16, we are having our "Lights On After School" Program Showcase and you are invited to join your child from 5:30-6:45 pm as they showcase what they are learning in the Texas ACE After-school program.

Friday, 10/21/16 Parent Teacher Conference 

There will be No After-School care, all students must be picked up at 12:00pm.

 

Please call the office the office @ 928-0118 to schedule a 10-15 minute conference  with your child's teacher.

We are sending home Progress Reports for the 1st Six Week Grading Period today.  

 

Please check your child's folders and back packs this evening.  If you have any questions about their grades please contact their teachers, or Mr. Muhammad.

Early Release Day

We will have an Early Release Day & Parent Teacher Conference this Friday, September 9th.   

 

There will be No After-School care, all students must be picked up at 12:00pm.

Open House 2016-2017

The TxEA staff would like to welcome you to the 2016-2017 school year. Open-house is scheduled for Tuesday, August 16th 6:30pm at the Elementary School Campus and Thursday, August 18th 6:30pm at the Middle School Campus. Come out and meet the teachers and staff as well as meet and greet other parents and students.  We are excited and looking forward to seeing you at open house.

Summer Meals in Your Community

Nutritious free meals are available for children and teens 18 and younger at Texas Empowerment Academy's Elementary campus this summer, June 13th - July 15th.

Book Fair

Our Scholastic Book Fair is a reading event that brings the books kids want to read right into our school. It’s a wonderful selection of engaging and affordable books for every reading level. Please make plans to visit our Book Fair and be involved in shaping your child’s reading habits.

Shopping hours: 8:00am – 5:30pm
